Experience a Life-Changing Lent: A 6-Week Challenge to Refocus, Renew, and Reconnect with God

Lent is a sacred season—a time to reflect, repent, and draw closer to God. But for many of us, life’s chaos can make it difficult to fully engage in this transformative time. That’s why I created the 6-Week Lent Challenge: a practical, faith-filled journey designed for overwhelmed Christian women looking to reclaim their focus, reconnect with God, and find peace in their daily lives.

Whether you feel stressed, distracted, or spiritually distant, this challenge is here to help you slow down, embrace meaningful practices, and experience the goodness of God in new and tangible ways. Each week is packed with action prompts and Bible verses to guide you in cultivating a deeper relationship with God and living out your faith.

Week 1: Quiet the Noise

We start by creating space for God in the middle of life’s busyness. This week, you’ll step back from the noise and distractions, allowing stillness to be the foundation of your Lent journey. Action prompts include scheduling daily quiet time, creating a prayer space, and meditating on scriptures like Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God.”



Week 2: Release What Weighs You Down

Let go of the burdens, worries, and distractions that are stealing your joy. From surrendering your anxieties to decluttering your physical space, this week helps you release what’s holding you back from God’s peace. Scriptures like 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you,” anchor this week’s focus.



Week 3: Root Yourself in God’s Word

Dive deeper into scripture and let God’s Word guide you through life’s challenges. Through Bible journaling, daily readings, and verses like Joshua 1:8: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night,” you’ll build a habit of turning to the Bible for wisdom, comfort, and direction.

Week 4: Nurture Your Mind, Body, and Soul

This week emphasizes holistic well-being as a form of worship. From practicing gratitude to nourishing your body with care, these prompts will help you see every part of your life as an offering to God. Verses like 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: “Your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit,” inspire this week’s actions.



Week 5: Focus on Loving Others

Faith without action is incomplete. This week challenges you to embody God’s love by serving others with kindness and compassion. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, writing a heartfelt note, or praying for someone in need, you’ll reflect God’s light through intentional acts of love. Key verses like John 13:34: “As I have loved you, so you must love one another,” shape this focus.



Week 6: Living Out God’s Purpose

In the final week, you’ll reflect on your God-given purpose and take action toward the life He’s calling you to. From discovering your spiritual gifts to stepping out in faith, this week helps you embrace His plan for your life. Verses like Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,” encourage you to live boldly in His purpose.



Why This Challenge?

This Lent Challenge is more than a checklist—it’s an invitation to transform your relationship with God and your daily life. By combining scripture, intentional actions, and reflection, this journey is designed to meet you where you are and guide you closer to the life God desires for you.



How to Join the Challenge

Lent begins on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, and ends on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Whether you start on Day 1 or join midway, this challenge is flexible and easy to follow. You can participate daily or at your own pace.

To get started:

  1. Bookmark or print the weekly prompts (available on Instagram or Pinterest).

  2. Set aside a few minutes each day for reflection, prayer, and the day’s action step.

  3. Follow along with the daily Bible verses to keep God’s Word at the center of your journey.
